The Essence of Autumn

I wanted to write from the heart for a moment, I hope it helps someone this season.

I look to the trees to announce that autumn is on its way. The brilliant colors of red, yellow, and orange always catch my eye. When the leaves can no longer hang on they fall as if each leaf is part of an orchestra. They all play their part; when the last leaf falls, winter has arrived and the harvest is done and all is resting.

It also lets me know that the old has passed and something new will spring up soon; so beautiful and different than before. With our lives, we should let something new happen, even if we are afraid. Growth without change is impossible.

This Fall Season, let your old nature fall away so that you can step into the new. It may not fit well at first, but you just might find something that you should have put on a long time ago.

There are great things awaiting us this Fall Season!

Rose From a Customer

I had a new customer to come by just a moment ago. He went to Let It Grow Produce were my coffee is sold. He was told that my coffee is great and I was a very nice person. Well, he took home 1/2 pound of coffee. He told me... You are a nice person and handed me a rose he created from a napkin. How cool is that! It goes to show that it's very important how you treat people in the community. People are always watching you and how you interact with people.

Cafe' Ole' reaTalk

Cafe' Ole' realTalk has been going on everyday. I start a conversation and it continues all day or sometimes weeks. Crew members (customers)come and join in .Today we started a new topic...... RELATIONSHIP.  If you can't join in person, please feel free to leave your comments here.

This statement was made today...Men don't know how to get love. One of the ladys pulled a gentelmen into to this coversation. After he heard the statement his rely was. I lost my wife because I didn't know how to get love. Meaning, I didn't do the litte things that mattered.  I think this will go on for a while.

Mother's Day

I know I'm early with this but,  I have been thinking about Mother's Day. I can't help but think about my four wonderful children. They are all grown and gone. What I would love to have this year is to have them all at home!

Come join me at Cooks Flea Market for the last time. I have enjoyed being here. I use this place for a test site and I must say it has been a success. Cafe' Ole' will be opening at the Marketplace Mall on April 2, 2012 the address is 2101 Peters Creek Parkway Winston-Salem, NC 27127

Customer Service

Yesterday at Cafe' Ole' I was asked by new customers and repeaters...Yes, I have repeaters! When are you going to open a retail location. I asked my repeaters and new customers, "Will you come out and volunteer time so that I can open". Their response was...you just tell me when and where! I wanted to cry.
"When your customer service is excellent they will come back even when your product is not at it's best. With excellent customer service and great product they will help you build! "

The Smallest Step is the Biggest

I’m thrilled to announce that the Café Olé Coffee House opened January 28, 2012!

Taking my first step Café Olé has opened inside a very unique place, the Cooks Flea Market in Winston-Salem, NC. This location made the most logical sense because my customers are already visiting for other reasons and I'm ready to serve them my amazing coffee with a smile.

Additionally my Piedford Blend is now available for purchase inside "Let It Grow” - a small shop that supports local vendors in Winston-Salem, NC.

These small steps are a huge step towards the pursuit of my dreams. I feel blessed by my faith, family and friends and am thankful for their support. Things can only get better from here!!!

I’ll keep you posted on what happens next,
