The first cup is the deepest.
I have been a coffee lover since I was a small child. I had my first coffee experience at my grandmother's house; she poured her coffee and put a little in a saucer and let me sip away. The experience forever changed what I considered simply a way to get closer to my grandmother. Coffee became one of my favorite things. Being a wife and raising four wonderful children, you can forget the things you love to do outside your family. For a long time, I forgot how much I loved coffee and coffee culture. Just after all of my children left the nest, I began visiting local coffeehouses in Winston-Salem, NC. One of the owners shared her vision with me, how she built her coffee shop, and her passion for producing a quality cup and developing customer relationships. This relationship spurred the birth of my coffee shop, Cafe' Ole' Coffee House!
